3 HOUR WORK TRIAL
NRG Digital conduct interviews on a work trial basis.
This involves coming in to our St Peters Gate office usually one afternoon usually between 1pm and 4pm.
Initially we have an informal chat which lasts about 20 minutes. All going well we then explain details of a job brief which will then give the candidate a chance to show his or her ability.
This task is well documented and will be usually one that has already been successfully completed by other candidates.
The type of task we give candidates is of a type that the candidate would expect to be given on an average day if they were to be employed by NRG Digital Ltd.
Gary, (Owner / Manager) will be there to give guidance in what is required from the candidate.
We use a meeting rooms within St Peters Gate along with a projector / presentation screen.
We use Apple Mac and PC laptops.
The candidate is more than welcome to bring and use their own laptop. Although we do prefer the Macintosh as an operating system (both for design and development)
We then leave the candidate to complete the task on his or her own.
Having given the candidate a couple of hours to complete the task we then come back in to the room (aprox 3.30 pm) to evaluate how well the candidate has done.
We then spend the remaining 15 minutes or so deciding if any opportunities would be available for the candidate and if so discuss salary / package etc.
The work trial is unpaid and is an opportunity both parties to get a feel for whether a long term employment position would be viable.
